TITLE: INTROS TO MAZISM:: THE EIGHT-EYES EXPANSION
The best way to describe the EIGHT-EYES System is “a symbolic cybernetic for socio-emotional perception.” For preface, a cybernetic system is any automatic control mechanism within living things and machines. Cybernetics have been used to create such things as thermostats in homes, autopilot in aircraft, and its general principle can also be seen in human homeostasis, where bodily functions are automated to regulate the inner conditions of the human body like temperature, blood sugar, oxygen flow, and much more.
To me, the most interesting application for cybernetics is in psychology, mainly through the study of feedback loops. When we experience our thoughts and the emotions which color them, we often react in a “feedback loop” of memory, stim, and effect-attachment that relays a certain amount of information we use to corroborate these thought-patterns. We become entrenched in the pattern as it forms a groove we enter—a sort of trance that most influencers would attribute to both the “bot” mindset as well as the flow-state. They are two sides of a luminous coin that determines the value of our mind and the ability to manifest a certain reality.
The more you’re willing and able to take the reins on the complex cybernetic system of your mind, the more control you can direct towards the life you want to live.
Now, the complexity of the mind still baffles us as a species so don’t expect total mastery as you practice this control. The more pragmatic approach when it comes to controlling your mental cybernetics is to realize you have multiple systems working in tandem, and to focus on one at a time. The EIGHT-EYES System is a manifestation of one of these, and it came about when I was knee-deep in a miserable job at Goodwill, and my emotions constantly push-and-pulled on my energy. I realized that emotions were just that—energy in motion—as they caused me to fluctuate in temperament so much that I seemed out of character. Anger would flash hotly in my chest, and my face would retain a scowl at customers, my voice cut—gritty and terse. Social media became a place where this anger would have a canvas to project on those I would usually call my friends and inspirations.
Then, inevitably that anger would be tempered into a deep sadness or despair. Despair that I was doing something I hated for money, or worse, that I hated myself for choosing to be there everyday even though I did the bare minimum. The bare minimum became a safe haven for me to wallow in this… self-pity. While these may seem dramatic in writing, energetically their expressions were subtle but ever-present in my body and mind—a den for misery.
As the saying goes, misery loves company to go down with, and it was in these depths that I found the EIGHT-EYES.
I understood that our sight can be filtered by our emotions, and very quickly we can be manipulated to see only one thing all around us. This understanding caused me to experiment with my emotions and see how they directed my perception among the people around me. Within this experiment, I learned that you can’t force emotion on yourself, but you can redirect it with certain canals of thought and imagination. As I observed my emotions, there were eight main points of reference that these emotionally charged thoughts often touched and anchored themselves to in my perception. They became the EIGHT-EYES System that you read in the last article—eight lenses into the energetic realm between me and the world around me. It is my goal that one could read this and apply a similar system of lenses for navigating their own emotional cycles. Using the cybernetic model, these EYES act as channels where energetic inputs can be directed into their proper categories and thus utilized in their most effective manner by the individual.
The current model is based on my own emotional cycles as well as the patterns I observe in others as they react to the world around them. In this model, the concepts of “projection” and “reflection” are to be considered as opposing vectors for the insight implied in each EYE’s application.
Projection means here: the unconscious transfer of one’s own emotions, affections, or desires onto another. Reflection means here: the internal process of observing the external world as a mirror to reflect on oneself.
To break down each EYE’s channeling purpose, whatever the EYE is labeled with is the main focus of either the reflection or projection upon the object it is perceiving. Recognize that reflection is not always good, as over-interiority can create an echo chamber of isolated thoughts and emotions that need expression but don’t have a good outlet to channel through. On the same tip, recognize that projection is not always bad, as our ability to realize patterns in people’s behavior can be preemptive in responding to disrespect, dishonesty, or harm. Projection is still a defensive mechanism, one that we have for a reason. With the use of the EIGHT-EYES System we can recognize our perceptions on any situation or person and correctly navigate our energy towards the object to induce a more favorable interaction, however that would manifest.
Knowing this now, let’s re-examine the EIGHT-EYES System and focus on a few of the EYES and the energy they represent:
Eye of Judgement Piercing and true Be careful of the lies Spoken too smooth {The Eye of Judgement is meant for the energy that assumes the worst or the best within both the observer and observed. Whether correct or incorrect in the assumption, is dependent on how one acts upon using this lens. Dishonesty, most importantly dishonesty to oneself, is key to observe as one uses this Eye.} Eye of Pity Smooth but crude A one-sided gaze Whose pain is new {Upon the viewing of pain, the Eye of Pity becomes a key tool in processing such stimulus as a real and effective force on the object, or subject, in view. Recognize that pain can be magnified in this Eye and can lead an illusory pain to the forefront of one’s mind without effective action to heal.} Eye of Pain Dense and Tense Beware of one’s rage It cages all sense Eye of Trance Lens to the dance Some beauty in advance Light, shone from the hands Eye of Secrets Defender of Ways Darkness deepens the day Beware of what you say {Within both the Eye of Trance and the Eye of Secrets, isolation and solitude are in an ebb and flow in our perception. Where the Eye of Trance is a balm to the senses against the harshness and pain of the previous Eyes, the Eye of Secrets protects and preserves the inner world in both the individual and the collective that utilize this Eye. The Eye of Trance is not numbness or lightheadedness, but distraction, redirection—a willful deception to facilitate healing or satiation. The Eye of Secrets can be both deception and openness/honesty depending on the direction you perceive with the Eye. Bringing the right people into your inner world, or shutting out the wrong people.} Eye of Love Lightest in the sense Cherish what we say Haven’t hid from you since Eye of Opposition Wicked and strict You must follow through Lest you leave nicked Eye of Victory Like the Sun’s blaze, alight Inevitable like day and night Even the moon knows, we are right. . {Upon the Eyes of Opposition and Victory, realize that Love affects these as they seek vindication, validation from both the inner and outer worlds of Self. This might seem opposite to the wording of the Eye of Opposition, “wicked and strict,” but realize that Love is an unfathomably broad energy esoterically, embodying both intense connection and separation. The decision to act from the perception granted by the Eye of Opposition is to sway between both connection and separation. Victory is the lens for truth and love in its most pure expression over the conflict implied in the Eye of Opposition.}
Now that we’ve expanded interpretation of this system, I hope I can inspire you Seekers to think about your own systems of thought and thus, your perception. Moreover, to challenge yourself to take control of your mind and spirit as emotion colors your thoughts is not only a great task, but a worthy one for the free thinker, the Seeker. This System is meant to be a starting point in emotional liberation, in discerning our energy as it interacts with those around us. Use it well, if at all.
Solve or dissolve.

damn this some esoteric shit, eight eyes is a very interesting model
have you read psycho-cybernetics?
anecdotes can be a bit extreme but he shares your view of the mind being cybernetic
