Title: {Holistic Power} in Practice

Today, I would like to expand on the concept of “Holistic Power,” introduced in my “POWER=K[M]” Essay.

OPERATIVE QUESTION: WHAT ARE POTENTIAL APPLICATIONS OF THIS PRINCIPLE WITHIN ONE’S MODEL OR VISION?

IN [MAZIST] TERMS: HOW CAN ONE TAKE STOCK OF ONE’S POWER WITHIN THEIR OPERATION?

Naturally, my brewing embodiment of the wizard archetype, alchemizing my Past and Present towards a vision of the Future, sees power as an angle of motion—a point of leverage within the metaphysical paradigm of my operation. I’m speaking almost strictly abstract here.

I really do see MAZISM as this large machine in the metaphysical space, and the POWER SYSTEM I’ve adopted within MAZIST MYTHOS-engineering are its particular gears and tools for optimum function, keeping the metaphor going.

I see it like this—when I use a MAZIST POWER, its function is to activate a certain gear or mechanism within the larger ARCANE CODEX that is the GOLDMAZE, literally pushing or pulling that concept across this nebulous realm that can really only be accessed through the mental and spiritual faculties.

But, in order to begin practice, I had to name my inner states as their own sort of processing machine, its own dynamo.

MAZIST PRINCIPLE:: the Full-Body Dynamo of Arcana

: MENTAL ELEMENT: THE :META:

: SPIRITUAL ELEMENT: THE :KI:

: CORPOREAL ELEMENT: THE :SOMA:

These three elements are a process with which arcane energies can be harnessed for transformation within one’s life. Now, I’ve mentioned the :META: before on this blog, this is important because then it was used as an anchor point for the strangeness of the sensation of Mind—that awareness. A skyward spark to the nebulous beginnings that occur within a lifetime. It follows the first Hermetic Principle: the ALL is Mind. The universe is a mental construct.

Using this as our starting point in the practice of Holistic Power, we begin by identifying the powers we wish to employ via the LAW OF NOMENCLATURE.

I have yet to find this principle adequately recorded, so allow me to synthesize it—repurposed from biblical context and more esoteric observations within spirituality and manifestation—stating that all things, in this complex superstructure of Reality, have a name; when we give names to things we are in fact pulling from an ancient power associated with creation and destruction.

This ability is accessed through the Point of Origin that is the META, which subsists the MIND.

THE MAZIST POWER SYSTEM is the metaphysical courage to name the powers I intuitively use in my operation, giving me agency over their function to me, the Wizard of NeoMystery. As Seekers you all deserve an inside look at this system and its mechanics within MAZISM.

FIRST POWER:: UN.IO

Standing for UserName.InteractiveOperation [or ImmersiveOperation] the UN.IO is the STRUCTURE OF SELF.

Not only as the Mazist, but as a creative, I’m realizing how easy it is to forget the Self is an illusory concept, just barely ethereal but can attach and detach to pieces of the external world. If you go to Carl Jung, the structure of our psychic identity has many layers with different functions and depths per layer. I think this model is useful for the creative, who must wear different hats, must adopt different mindsets for executing certain ideas, but I believe his model is not versatile enough.

Within MAZISM, I use alter egos as vehicles for conceptual experimentation, but they are not separate from Self. In fact, the Self is actually transformed by this mechanism, this MAZIST POWER, and can pull from the world of insight attached to each UN.IO. As a mechanism which configures aspects and ideas connected to my truest Self, the Structure of Self is in flux, and ever-evolving. The UN.IO observes this shifting quality of Self as a means to deeper understanding.

Now the concept of an alter ego itself is not new, but the decision to identify the ability to enter alter egos as an operation of excavating and transforming Self is the MAZIST quality of the practice.

SECOND POWER:: :KNO: the Navigation of Self

This power essentially gives my conscious operation the space and wherewithal to excavate the dimensions achieved through the UN.IO representation. For example, the ability to perceive the ins and outs of the world of SOLO.KNIGHT at large, even Deathstalker, is a faculty of this power—this Navigation of Self.

THIRD POWER:: WILL: the Force of Time

Allow me to expand on this for a moment. In my mind, we mostly perceive time based on the dogmatic perceptions passed down from higher modes of society—economics, politics, religion. Whether this perception be cyclical, linear, ascending, descending, it depends on the organization of priorities practiced by the observer. Thus, the direction they move is affected by this perception. I believe it is the willpower that subsists the force which our temporal perception facilitates. We make decisions from moment to moment, and the degrees of agency are consistent across these vantage points. It is through the will that we exert any lasting impact upon the mystery of Time. A momentous force when activated consistently and concertedly.

Here ends the power breakdown for now.

I will uncover more secrets of the MAZIST POWER SYSTEM as I see fit over time—definitely expect more methods to practice Holistic Power in the coming months. I do want to stress however that this system is a personal one. One that has helped me reclaim my agency towards my mental health and creative potential. I share these methods and thoughts not only because it speaks to the wizard in me but because I know there are others who could use that archetype in their own lives. We are Seekers—of knowledge, of answers, of the mysteries and delights—we can’t help but create our own paths. I only wish to document mine. Hopefully, you see how power can be practiced in the ethereal elements of Mind and Spirit—how we can identify what gives us an edge as long as we have a creative bone in our body. I codify it, but the freedom is in your hands to where you decide to take your practice.
